HOW TO REACH SOUTH ASIAN AMERICAN STUDENTS AT YOUR UNIVERSITY (AND WHY IT’S IMPORTANT)

by | Mar 2, 2014 | Faith, Leadership, Personal Development, South Asian | 0 comments

South Asian Americans are the American-born children of immigrants from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, and/or Bhutan. These young men and women are headed to the university campus in droves.

South Asian American university students are graduating to become influential in the marketplace with strong business acumen, engineering savvy, and/or medical expertise. Fortune 500 companies continue to promote South Asians to the position of CEO.

South Asian Americans are a strategic, influential, and vastly unreached ethnic group on campus and within the U.S.  If we reach and mobilize this group of people, then we will make a great impact in the U.S. and within the 1040 window. If given the Gospel, the right vision, and the right training, these students have the potential to be world changers in a profound way.
